Byron

Location

Byron is a residential and commercial neighbourhood located in the southwest corner of London, Ontario. Once a separate village, its amalgamation with London in the 1960’s was an ode to its thriving energy. The main intersection is at Commissioners Road West and Boler Road. Byron is situated on the outskirts of the Forest City, but it is only a fifteen-minute drive away from the Downtown core. Residents who live in Byron benefit from the perks of living in a big city with all the humble vibes of a small town.

Byron’s reputation amongst Londoners is excelling, and the new developments underway are a direct reflection of that. The housing in the area is varied in style and pricing. Options range from well maintained three bedroom bungalows built in the 1950’s to contemporary and fresh four bedroom new builds (as of 2017). This has been a destination for Londoners since 1894. Complete with a full 30km of trails along the Thames River and wildlife inhabiting the entire area – this is a getaway from the city life without leaving the city!

Byron has been built up over the years, meaning shopping, dining and entertainment are at residents direct disposal. The main commercial corridor for the neighbourhood is at Boler Road and Commissioners Road West. Residents can also head south down Boler Road to Southdale to Porcino’s Italian Restaurant.
